This company is a startup created by a friend of mine back in South Carolina. As the name implies, it's a men's grooming supply company. They sell a range of products that include pomade, beard balm, mustache wax, and solid cologne. The best part? All of their products are made in America, using only natural oils and scents. And they smell AMAZING.
It was important to the founder to capture a certain aesthetic with this brand. His target audience is men, age 20-50, who want to look good and have a desire to be connected to nature and the elements. He wants to remind his audience that as men, we have a duty to protect and provide for our loved ones, even if that means getting our hands dirty. But that doesn't mean we can't look good doing it.
I worked with Rugged Legacy to create a brand that connects with that audience. We also created labels for their entire line of products, using the brand colors and clever copywriting to differentiate between the scents on offer. After I got my own order, I took the products out on the streets of Berlin for a photo shoot - perfect imagery for their recent announcement of international shipping.
