This is a really awesome project created by previous clients of mine (see Trip Outside). During a trip to India, they fell in love with the dogs they met there. You see, many cities in India have a huge problem with stray dogs. There are just too many of them to care for, and many people can't afford pets in the first place. So the Singh's had an idea.
Seva Stray is going to produce ethnic/bohemian style products (purses, bags, backpacks, jewelry etc.) that will be made in India and sold in the US online. The sale of each product will support spaying, neutering, and helping injured dogs in India. Being a huge animal lover myself, I was on board immediately.
The logo we came up with uses the profile of the actual breed of dog that is most commonly found running around the streets of India, and its tail is curved to form the "S" in the brand's name. This simple, clever logo is going to be used primarily as a patch on the items that are sold, so it was important to create something that will look great on a small scale, and I think we achieved that.
