Taskway is a brand-new startup that really interested me. The idea is for it to be kind of like Uber, but for productivity instead of transportation. People will sign up for the app and use it when they have a task or chore that needs to be done that they can't do themselves or don't have time for. There will be pre-approved people who take on these tasks, depending on who is closest to the user or who can get it done the fastest. The hope is that the app can specifically help older people who need extra help around the house, but don't want to lose their independence.
For their logo, Taskway wanted to convey the idea of "productivity" at the forefront. They also wanted to make sure that their audience is aware that it's a household service, and that their approved workers can come to their home and personally attend to their needs. The icon includes a check mark (as on a completed task list) and the letters and other elements form a house.
